I've got one of the newer tables for the post 2010 OTP. Yeah its fine. Assuming the older model is similarly stable and I had one of the older model one touches then £28 is worth it imho

Well it's definitely not worth any more than £28, put it that way.....

It clips inside the lid, but it doesn't seem the best fit really.

Cheaper, better solution:

1. place any table next to BBQ
2. job done

Indeed - if you shop at Costco, have a look at the Lifetime brand folding tables they sell. Top top quality stuff, legs fold, and has a very sturdy built-in carrying handle too. Quite inexpensive at about 20 quid (from memory).

I think this is the one I have - not at home at the moment. Costco don't have the selection shown on the manufacturers website above - just a few things.
