Post by adam »

Hello everyone, just to let you know I have bought a brinkmann grill n smoke today and am going go do the obligatory mods to it.Am a newbie to smoking but love bbq s!!! Really need advice in the near future about temp regulating and which fuel to use....I've heard cocoshell is good though.Any help and advice to start me off would be brilliant no matter how small, it's only helpful if I know about it !!! Adam. :)

Welcome to the forum
Tried cocoshell years ago, and this is just my opinion heat beads are better. I take it the mods include putting the legs on the outside and the firebowl on bricks. also sand works better than water i have had mine for a decade, they do work but need coddling.
Good luck and welcome.
