Repurposing from Aldi

Sorry it's a bit late but Aldi have a roasting tin with a v shaped rack which, when turned upside-down would make a nifty rib-rack. I'm sure many of you have such a dual purpose implement and we are probably the last ones to think of it.
The pan is heavy gauge and, although still in it's virgin ( ) state should work well.

At that price I'm not surprised, they've a wide selection of poultry as well. Might just have to be in the queue at *am :D

I managed to get a couple today, about 1.4kg. Just short of a 2 rib roast, and just over £12 each. My family doesn't eat red meat so one went in the freezer and i steaked the other one. i got 3 huge steaks an inch thick and slab sized. It tasted great :-) i saved all the trimmings and will fry them tomorrow and have a cheese steak sandwich.

Sadly my Aldis only got 1 box and they went before 8:30 in the morning, still we have enough to get by on in the freezer so we won't starve :D
