Hi

I have an IQ110 that I haven't yet used with my pro q excel. I would like to know the best way of positioning it without damaging the doors or probes. Any help will be appreciated.

It fits perfectly although you may have to trim the long bolt as it can catch the coal basket, I didn't I used the bottom hole on the daisy wheel and it supports the basket. What I would advise though is to clean the other vents very well before sealing them with the supplied tape. I'd also get some more tape as you don't get very much ;) . The probes on mine fitted the grommets perfectly but I know some people have either opened the holes up or "GENTLY squeezed the probe where it joins the wire to reduce it's thickness. Oh yes and don't lose the black cap it's the only way to shut the smoker down, rather than let it burn out. Noe If Eddie from Invicta picks this up he probably still has a link to building a see-through waterproof box. If not search youtube for the IQ and you'll eventually find the link.
It's a great bit of kit

Enjoy

I think the pitmaster110 are great and is a good alternative to the more expensive guru and stokers.
But they are not waterproof and I keep mine in a plastic box whenever I use it. In this box I keep a 10 metre extension lead, maverick and the pitmaster and probe leads. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lS5L7l9VZLU
The probe leads that you get if twisted or bent get broken. Seeing that I haven't had time to order some from the Sates, I have asked the nice people from ETI to make me some.

Here are some other videos that you may find interesting http://www.pitmasteriq.com/Videos-of-iQ ... oller.html

Did you have any luck with getting ETI to make you a probe? preferably one that fits the holes? (mine won't squeeze)

It's only a fraction of an inch you need, a gentle squeeze with a pair of pliers should do it :D, or gentle application of a file to the grommet.
