Hi All

Was watching Jamie and Jimmy, their café thing on the pier, well to be totally honest Sienna Miller was on it and she's a very pretty lady, she cooked I think

Anyway Jimmy is a pig farmer and he cooked a whole butterflied pig in a box in 4hrs, looked great.
I think they are called Cajun microwaves.
Im sure some of you know about them, I was thinking about making one and wanted to know if anybody has attempted one before and where did you get the metal plate, grill and aluminium sheet lining??

I think it was Keith that said he cooked a whole pig and if so as your local where did you source the pig from?

I cooked suckling pig, not quite the same deal, as the smaller fitted the Weber spit and the second curled nicely on a 57cm BBQ, this is the topic which has both suppliers and a couple of other suggestions.

The aluminium sheeting you can get from ebay, cut to size too. The tray was an oil tray used under cars in garages i think, am sure they would be on ebay aswell

I did have a look on google and found the sheeting for roughly £65-70.

Did look good though and the ones ive seen on youtube look great, to buy from lacajachina are very expensive especially the stainless steel ones.

Thankfully I don't even have to ponder this one, it won't fit in my garden, not sure I would even get it through my garden gate . Wonderful, no lusting after one, no desire to own one...(well maybe just a little supressed envy somewhere around).

Your garden must be the size of a coffin Keith!

Come to think of it, you could probably line a coffin, and with a little tinkering.....

Rob there are a few pics on here showing my garden, the dead gazebo we had practically filled the available space. Don't forget I have to accommodate the table & chairs plus my BBQs as well
