Greetings from Milton Keynes

Thought I'd get around to registering after being a lurker for a bit :)

I'm Chris From Milton Keynes , always been a BBQ fan but only had the time to take it further than burgers and sausages in the last couple of years.

I've just upgraded my (t)rusty old ProQ Amigo to a La hacienda Kamado. I'd love to have the cash for a proper BGE , but it was a hard one to justify with the wife. I might end up with something smaller for more impromptu grilling as well , but currently undecided !

Best moment to date was for a party last year - did about 6 or 7 bacon explosions , pulled pork and a rib or two....

They were good as a starter :)

First cook on the Kamado last night - just some regular grilling , but very impressed - only needed a couple of handfulls of fuel, held a 300F temp rock solid!

Welcome along. Beef ribs look great and these are next on my list as well as a brisket. MK is not too far down the road from me. Real lack of decent BBQ places round that area. You tried Lonestar Grill yet?
