Hi Guys,

Could any of the South Yorkshire based members recommend any butchers that have good knowledge and can supply the US style meat cuts. New to the low & slow game and want a good source for Pork shoulder (Boston Butt style), ribs and brisket for when my WSM arrives.

Hi Scott.

Get yourself over to Moss Valley Fine Foods. Their pigs are awesome and the butcher there is a helpful chap. I bought half a pig off them about 9 months ago.

I get my beef ribs from Slack's in Wadworth near Doncaster. Ask for Matt and tell him Tom sent you. They sell rib plates which you can easily butcher down if you like. Maybe call them first to make sure they've got some.
