New and Want to be BGE owner

Post by soccer »

I new to the forum and I am looking to buy a Big Green Egg.

I think I am going with the Large, but does anyone recommend XL over the L and if so what are the advantages, because the price is drastically different?

Also BGE is doing a promo for recommending a friend, I get something and you get something if anyone is interested?

Thanks,

Shane

Hello. I have the XL, I was in the same position as you L or XL I do not regret buying the XL, it is in my opinion the more flexible option, it's easy to set for 2 zone cooking with the use of the half moon stone, you can do this with the large but you are seriously restricted on space. I quite happily cook for 2 to 22 and never thought I needed more space.

I will buy another egg in the future and it will be the MiniMax, I'd like something to use away from home, I'm fairly certain is still use the XL for 95% of my cooks.
