Anybody know where I can buy 3 accurate probes?

Preferably two meat probes and one pit probe (or 3 of the same with a grate clip) ?

Just finished building my raspberry pi wifi temp checker and alerter, and only have the probe from my iGrill so can only measure 1 temp at once - My setup can measure 3 at the moment, and up to 8 if I choose

Other than buying replacement probes from Amazon i'm not sure i'm afraid.

But I am interested in the raspberyy pi and having a potential for 8 probes! Would it be possible for you to share instructions on getting this up and running?

I'm no expert but after a little research at the weekend on probes it seems there is one which is used in a number of devices and they're circa £15 each on Amazon

I am adding some extra features however, and making it run on a power pack so it can run wirelessly for 24 hours.
Can also view my temps when in the pub / shopping / etc.

I have a maverick already so thinking maybe a temp logger might be more my thing for usefulness once done. That and I could do with a project

any that come with a Type-K connector just snip the connector off and wire in to your block

I was looking at these before, however, the handles are only rated to 135c and the leads are plastic so no good for leaving in the bbq.

I think I will try some of them from Amazon and see how I get on.

I made a similar project, except using an Arduino. I used the ET-732 probes and bought them from Macs BBQ - but they no longer sell them unfortunately. The ET-732 probes are fairly well documented and work well for projects - you might consider importing some from Maverick - particularly if you want several:

The shipping charges are quite reasonable - just $10.

For that shipping cost I'm surprised no one is buying in bulk and reselling. Or grouping together to get a load for spares/replacements. I'd be interested in 2 hybrid probes and 1 food probe
