Hoping the weather will hold today as its the first chance we'll get to test out the new BBQ.
I've always gone a bit mad when it comes time to get a new barbecue. Spent nearly £700 on our latest one. I told the Mrs I wanted something a bit different this time around. Bought the Joe Classic 18” Ceramic bbq. It's a beast! I wanted to be able to cook anything we wanted in it as the oven ain't great in the static. You can smoke stuff real nice and even do pizzas, which we might have a go at before the weeks over. You can slow cook too so the wife's pretty chuffed as well about it, not just me.

Cheers essexsmoker, yep already had some great meals out of it and the pizzas were a huge success too once we'd got the settings right.

I really want to try pizza. I used to make a great pizza in the oven but haven't had time for ages. Must be great over fire. Mmmm.

Yep! You get that slight smokey flavour but the base and toppings cook the perfect amount. Bit of a marble effect on the base, slight crisp on the bite, nice hot toppings cooked through on top. Delicious!

Seen the same bbq with over a ton knocked-off the price when I was having a butchers around the
net earlier in the week. Suppose that's why it pays to wait until after Christmas. Not gonna complain though, had some great cooks off it. We're gonna head down the van at the end of the month and try out a Sunday roast. Reckon a nice big joint will cook a treat in there.

Sounds great, I'm in the market for a Kamado Joe too, just saving up the pennies at the moment but there are some good deals around. Keep us posted on how your cooks go.

Hey, maybe it's the time of year but I can't find a KJ classic for less than £828. Any ideas?
