Has anyone got a good Mop recipe for pork, as I'm having trouble finding one.

Many Thanks

To be honest bud, I just spritz with either apple juice or cider. You could thin down a BBQ Sauce using either of those and that would be a good base for a mop often referred to as a glaze.

I had a similiar problem a while back finding a good mop, this is what I resorted too.

I do the same as Adie but I mix apple juice with bourbon or JD.

When I foil them I use a foil marinade of margarine, demererra sugar, bbq sauce and bourbon infused honey.

I spray about every 30 minutes, after the first hour, with a 50/50 beer/apple juice mixture. Then I just very lightly brush with sauce before they are done. I usually don't foil, but when I do, I brush lightly with sauce and spray some of the mixture in the foil before wrapping

My mum has always said "When you have got a problem, you ask the doctor", thats a lot, just tried it and it was very good.

Hope to meet you in the future, and share a cyder or two.

OK I have never seen a silicon mop here in the UK.

Do you have a picture of your old one just for reference.
