New member - new WSM owner

HI everyone! Been lurking on here the last year or two after learning about smokers and their benefits over traditional basic BBQ's.
Having watched countless youtube videos and reading so many forum threads I decided a WSM was going to be for me!!
I'd planned to buy one in the next year or two and take the time to examine the different sizes on offer (I hoped to go to a local supplier in the spring and compare them) but the decision was taken away from me at the weekend, when for my 30th, my family bought me a 52cm Weber Smokey Mountain.

I'm properly chuffed with it! Built it as soon as I'd sobered up!! haha
Now I can't wait to get out there and fire it up!!

I might be better asking this in the other forum section, but will I be able to use this in the winter?
I imagine I'll just have to add more fuel over a long cook to keep temps up?
I'm keen to cook for the family on Boxing Day if possible!!!
