Hi

Does anyone have any recipes for brisket. Got a shiny new injector and itching to use it. So any recipes would be welcomed for me to try out.

Thanks

If brisket is what you call silverside here in the UK, I like thyme and garlic with slow cooked silverside. Blend those 2 ingredients down and inject it in and it should be nice.... :)

It's a different cut. I like thyme and garlic too but generally use it on the outside of a roasting joint.

I have used 4-5 oxo cubes, garlic powder, onion salt, mix to taste with some cranberry juice or cola and inject that. I tend to warm it first and it's what I do at home not for comps.

It does. Although I've seen it done dozens of times. It's the first time I've injected meat. All i can say is, when you inject, tilt to left and right of where you inject as well. Also keep hand at an angle over where the needle is in the meat so it doesn't spray everywhere. I found that out the hard way lol

wonder if gelatine would help keep the marinade in? :?:.........it might also help make a dry piece of meat more glutenous....isn't this fun ;) :D
