A big group of us made the trip from London to Witley on Saturday to visit The White Hart for my stag do. It was all a surprise to me, but I had been meaning to go there for ages as it's the home of BBQ Whiskey Beer, who once traded in London and won Ribstock one year.

B&Q have 2x7kg bags of Diall lumpwood for £8. Conveniently some of the bags were ripped open so I could see that they had some pretty decent sized chunks in there

Nitromors will also make very light work of the paint, especially if you slop it on thick on a hot day.

My ball valve and pipe nipples just screwed into the hole I drilled. Only the one ball valve gets much movement and I have noticed after a year or so it's got a bit wobbly. I have seen some guys who just welded them into place, but I'm sure I've also seen some flat nuts that screw on from inside the ...

Finishing off in the oven isn't what they're suggesting - the Tesco material says start off in the oven and finish on the BBQ. I expect most of our issues with that come from the fact that meat takes on smoke flavour when it's cold...
