I usually buy from Big K but please let me know if you know of any other good alternatives.
Many thanks

Re: Any decent charcoal deals on at the moment?
I had a scout around yesterday. Based on 2 bags.
Makro (12kg) - £11.99 x2 + £2.99 = £23.98
BarBeQuick (12kg) - £13.99 x2 +£0.00 = £27.98
Big K (12kg) - £12.99 x2 + £10.00 = £35.98. (Orders less than £24.99 are £6.50)
BGE (9kg) - £20.00 x2 +£13.00 = £53.00

Thank you Stu.
Is the restaurant grade charcoal from Marko recommended. Is it similar quality to Big K?
Thanks again.

From what I read it seems to come well recommended.

For anybody that's not too fussy over charcoal The Range is clearing stock at £7.99 for 10kilo or £3.99 for 5 kilo.
Not bad lumpwood for the price, pretty standard stuff though.

Direct charcoal do restaurant grade with lumps the size of my head, £7.50 for 12kg. Unbelievably cheap for the best charcoal I've ever used. Not sure of delivery charges (I drive out there - Peak District - twice a year and pick up a six month supply. Burns hotter and longer than anything I've used.

Hi Rob,
I had looked at their website but no prices displayed - I guess you need to call.

If you don't mind briquettes; Lidl £4 when you buy 2x5kg bags. I've been using these for years and never had any issue with the quality, just as good as any of products found on sale and widely available. At that price I don't worry if I use too much either.

Home base doing half price and 2 for 1 plus another 15% off and B & Q have a bank holiday deal on too

Oh Forgot Yes and I like Makro restaurant quality Charcoal, Purple bags are the best (premium) same price as the blue but blue does spit a little
