Re: Brisket - London

If you're in London then you're lucky enough to be able to visit Smithfield easily. I would suggest going early and paying a visit to Tom Hisxon there, he has a selection of Australian and American brisket, grain fed so good marbling and they are sold at substantially cheaper prices than their ...

Re: Alright you meaty lot

There's a recent post on here with a ...

Re: Aldi £4 pork shoulder - test cook!

If it was brined it would have to say so on the label. I can't see anything on there so I can only assume that it's not.

I've had their shoulder before and it wasn't brined.

BBQ restaurant coming in Portsmouth

To the Portsmouth rabble, and there are a few of us here, there's a new BBQ restaurant opening up in Southsea soon....

There's also one in Manchester which has a website where the menu can be viewed and I presume ...

Re: Evening all,

I started out with a WSM and then moved on to a Yoder YS1500 but that was for commercial reasons. I love my Yoder, I simply cannot fault it, the build quality is superb, the temperature control is spot on and the ability to set the temperature and forget it is worth its weight in gold, particularly ...

Re: Burgers

I bought a mincer from Lidl for my 'garden kitchen' thinking it would do the job as every other kitchen gadget I've bought from there has worked fine......utterly useless.

I also have a mincer attachment for my Kenwood mixer and it will deal with anything you throw at it, fantastic bit of kit.
