I have not posted on here in a while and have learnt a huge amount in the past year. I am hoping to open up an E-Commerce site in the new year selling BBQ related things such as charcoal chimneys, peach paper, UDS ...

Re: Dirty Steak...
Had a go at this myself after reading all the success stories online (including this thread). It. Was. Amazing.
Definitely the best steak i have ever cooked and one of the best I've ever eaten.
Got a nice thick ribeye from the butcher (450g in the end)
Seasoned with salt only

Re: WSM - First Cook
The size of your meat (sniggers) will change the cooking time noticeably, just keep an eye on temperatures and cook until its done. Brisket is one of the hardest to get right and your biggest problem with smaller bits is its chance of drying out - more likely with cow than it is with pig :)

Re: What to buy... Drum/barrel BBQ?
Hey thanks for the replies :)
I am just looking up the Bristol guys now.
As for the Weber, yes the more I read the more I want one. It is great that they survive well outside but unfortunately my rear 'garden'(more of a courtyard) is about as secure as my front garden(not very!) so I need to be ...

What to buy... Drum/barrel BBQ?
Hi,
I am new to the world of 'propper BBQing' and am looking to purchase a decent BBQ. Funds are rather limited but I would like to ask a simple question...
Can you recommend a decent horizontal barrel/drum style BBQ suitable for regular grilling and smoking?
More info... I would like to have a ...
