This looks like fun:

A table-top ceramic cooker, fueled by either charcoal or wood, it is sold as a pizza oven, but can also be used as a table-top grill or smoker. At 250 quid, I think it's quite neat.
No, I am not buying one, as I have enough such toys. Doesn't stop me from admiring it though.

Re: Earthfire Pizza Oven
I'm not sure why people think this is particularly expensive, for what it is. While not cheap, it is, after all, a ceramic cooker, and it appears to be larger and cheaper than the mini-table-top version of the BGE, which is the closest thing I can think of to compare it with.
I haven't had any direct experience with the Earthfire, so have no idea how good a cooker it is. But the price is comparable with similar products in the market. As for the "free pizza peel", it is being sold primarily as a pizza oven. I suspect that if it didn't come with a peel, the same naysayers would be saying "it doesn't even come with a peel".
My original post was simply that I had come across this, and thought it interesting enough to mention here. I definitely think it comes under the category of "New Toys". So I don't see why folk think this is particularly outrageous.

Hi Chris, maybe I'm mistaken but the earth fire seems to me more like a pair off terracotta tapas dishes than a BGE. No
offence was intended however and I'd be happy to be proved wrong

Oh, no offence taken, at all! I was just surprised that folk saw this as expensive, compared to any other BBQ item on the market in the UK.
On a related subject, elsewhere, I have been seeing some excited discussion of the "new" pellet grill coming out of Germany. The Bob Grillson pellet grill is selling for approximately 7,000 euros. Now that *is* expensive.
