I'm just about to enter the world on injecting meat. Got my nice big injector syringe but am having difficulty in finding any good injector sauce recipes. Does anyone have any suggestions? My first adventure will be with beef.

To be honest you want to enhance the beef flavor with your injection, a good way to start is to get a knorr stock cube, dilute it and use that. See what you think and then adapt as you see fit. There are several competition injections out there such as butchers but i wouldnt use them at home as they are aimed at the "single bite" competition market and would be a little too much.

thanks for that. I have also heard that you can use the liquid/sauce that you've made to spray the meat with? I was also maybe thinking of putting a little garlic, butter and some beer together as an injector sauce with possibly a touch of liquid smoke in it as well. Any thoughts?

i wouldnt touch liquid smoke as an injection, it has its uses but is very powerful stuff. You may have problems with any lumps trying to inject garlic etc but a way round it would be to soak some garlic in oil for a while (ie month or two) then use the oil as part of your injection.
