Have a look at the Kamado Joe

It's pretty much the same as a large BGE. For £760 you can get the cradle, heat deflector, pizza stone, extender grill, ash tool and cover.

I got mine in October and I'm well impressed. It's amazing how easy it is to hold the temp and how little fuel it uses.

If you buy a ceramic bbq you won't be disappointed even though they are quite pricey.

The Kamado joe looks awesome, significantly cheaper too.
Internally the ceramic is a different colour to the other kamados though - is this because its not glazed and the others are? The hinge seems simpler too - is it and are there any issues with it?

I'm not a expert on ceramics, but the inside doesn't appear glazed, not sure if the other makes are and what difference it makes.

Had no issues with the hinge and haven't read about any on the net.

Just been given the info from Kamado

"No the inside isn’t glazed. It is ever so slightly porous hence the reason we recommend that you don’t use lighter fluid when firing it up"

Just for everyones info, I will be launching the IBQN shop in the next week or so and will be offering discounts on the Kamado Joes plus other products. Cant give out pricing yet still working on it and logistics, But watch this space!

ANYONE?
Could be a good deal for someone. Not 100% convinced on add would only pay through PayPal and insist on proof of purchase. Also not sure the warranty transfers between owners but may be wrong. Happy bidding if anyone goes for it.
