Post by chokethechicken »

I am planning to attend the CES at Las Vegas next January and need to find out where the best BBQ joints are (if any!)?

Not sure on BBQ joints but you have to try the Big Badass Burrito Challenge at the NASCAR Cafe from Man v Food

I have to say, BBQ is great, but the resort buffets are certainly an eye opener and a must for anyone going over!

I am going in April for work and have done some research... well actually alot... There are a number of places I want to visit, and BBQ is something is close to the heart, there are a few restaurants we are going to try -

Sassy Sals - The best BBQ in town (well actually a bit out, but the trip is worth it!). Apparently the Hungry Pitmaster sandwich is the nuts - Smoked brisket, hot link sausage, pulled pork, cheddar, slaw and bbq sauce!!!
http://www.sassysalslasvegas.com/%20alt ... %20BuzzBBQ

Memphis BBQ - As mentioned above

Buzz BBQ - This is relatively new, but some positive feedback
http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Restaurant ... evada.html

We are going to do our own Man v Food day and this is the Agenda:
Breakfast -('Fried Chicken Eggs Benedict' ) http://www.hashhouseagogo.com/
Lunch - Hot n Spicy Crawfish - Yes please http://www.hotnjuicycrawfish.com/
Dinner - Cant do this as Sahara is closed (Big B@dass Burrito Challenge (B3 Challenge, Nascar Cafe), so I suggest one of the steak houses - SW Steakhouse, Stripsteak or PRIME (Strip restaurants), or off Strip - The Golden Steer or as one chum mentioned, the best kept secret in Vegas - Twin Creeks Steakhouse @Silverton Lodge & Casino - Cab fare + cheap quality steak is still cheaper than the strip with HUGE sides

Anyway, some other places I would like to try out -

Lotus of Siam - http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Restaurant ... evada.html(apparently besides their normal food, they do cracking garlic/black pepper wings .... mmm)

Adult Frozen drinks - Fat Tuesday - http://www.yelp.co.uk/biz/fat-tuesday-las-vegas-2 (Alcoholic beverages)

Wings
Toby Keiths - Apparently some of the best wings around http://www.yelp.co.uk/biz/toby-keiths-i ... -las-vegas
SINCITYWINGS.COM - A travelling chicken wing food van, supposed to amazing - http://sincitywings.com
Amusingly hooters - $1 wings and $4 beers with $1.50 refills.... sounds like a good evening :>
