Dumb question (possibly!)

I'm not involved in the cook but want to come down with some friends and check out the food and hopefully get to taste some. Is this the sort of thing where the public can turn up, soak up the atmosphere and get something good to eat ? If so what time is best?

cheers.

Wish I could be there but, alas, I'm a bit too far away.

jberriman, maybe some kind soul will put you on his team for the day. That way you will get to sample some BBQ. That is what we do on occasion, when there is no vending, or if we have not been permitted for vending.
