Hi All,

I just wanted to clarify the position of the British BBQ Society. There have always been 2 competitions in the diary this year, May and July, due to the increased popularity, we have added a 3rd competition in August which will be our National Final to name our National Grand Champion.

One of our aims is to put forward the best and most consistent team to represent Britain at the Jack Daniels Invitational in October which is why the points for the July & August competition will be tallied (as stated previously) to find the best team to represent Britain.

Our other aim is to increase the popularity of this style of cooking in a social, family friendly environment, always on hand to offer advice, hints and tips.

The May and July dates were released in October 2009 last year and have not changed, the August date was released a month ago. Therefore please note the dates for the next two competitions.

24th & 25th July Minley Nursery, Tongham, Surrey

28th & 29th August Rudgwick Steam & Country Show (TBC)
