Nothing wrong with boning out your chicken, at the end of the day breast is the hardest but often the best part to cook. How you cook it is down to you as long as it falls within the rules.

Eddie,

My chicken has been boned and cooked in muffin trays for two years on the circuit. I've had several calls including a win in chicken so no it doesn't get you a dq.

The cupcake chicken discussion is not really relevant to sculpting meat, it's not the same thing.

Isn't the point about sculpting to do with making it identifiable to a judge that is has come from a particular team?

Shoving your pork in a mould shouldn't mean you get a DQ because it's not going to be identifiable to my team, although if i arranged the pork to say ED i'd expect to get a DQ.

Interesting reading on the last two pages.

Not much for me to add. I'm just a policeman; Toby is the legislator and has said it all already.

I will judge according to the published laws, whatever they are at the time.

Okay. I'm the judiciary. But as a judge, I am also the police as nobody else is going to report the crimes to the judiciary.

I'm police, judge, jury and executioner.

But I'm certainly not the legislator though. I don't create the laws, I just enforce them.
