Well first of all all forum members get the BBQ brotherhood discount as I call it.A Fatboy regularly is $2100 your cost $1875 as for shipping the way it works is you get a shipper on your end he works with me on the cost of the unit and how we need to word what it is to get it through as quickly as possible to you at the lest amount of taxes duties ect. I have not done one to your area yet but did one to the southern tip of Chili it it ran the guy about $3500 but that was for a very large unit and it got held up do to unrest in the country so I thing that affected the price greatly so dont be to scared off. If you want to begin a little research for the future I will help you with it and we could post it for others who have thought about it. Thanks all for the warm welcome guys!!
If it helps anyone, we used a friend of mine, who runs a shipping company to import ours and John's superiors. He dealt with all taxes and everything from door to door. the original unit price on the smoker was $2500 and with shipping etc they finished at £2500 so shipping etc was about £800- £900. Does that sound about right?
Ya that sounds close based on what I have read and depends on weight also so the model would alter that some what. If you have someone knowledgable in this already it really helps the entire process.
