Missing posts?

I have been away from the forum for a couple on months and my rating has gone down from 3 flames to 1. Is there a time limit for posting after which your rating drops? I know it is not about flame ratings but was quite surprised to suddenly be bumped down 2 notches.

its nothing personal, the post counter has just been amended. it was set very low when we first started for obvious reasons but now the forum has gained in popularity the systems has been amended to match other forums.

That is good to hear - Setting things in line with other forums makes sense. It does not explain though why my total post count has gone down from over 300 a couple of months ago and is now only showing just over 100. Have you been having problems with the forum software?

I think that everyone has had this. I don't think it really matters that much. But it's good that you have returned. Hope that you have been well ?

The host that we use for the forum crashed 3 times this week, something about NAS drives, i dont look at my post count, but to be honest havent spent to much time on here in the last couple of weeks apart form panicking when someone tells me its down. Its properly backed up now so hopefully no more problems.
