Hi There,
I have a Brinkmann Smoke ‘N’ Pit http://www.forfoodsmokers.co.uk/acatalog/Brinkmann_Smoke_n_Pit_-__239.00.html. Researching this style of cooker I noticed the deluxe version has the fire box on the side (as many pro smokers seem to have) and the main chamber acts as an offset cooker/smoker. I was thinking of making a DIY box to go on the side of my pit. Any suggestions or tips on methods, types of materials for this job would be greatly received. Thanks Ollie

Re: Fire Box
an old gas cylinder or compresser tank may do the job.
(providing your gas cylinders are the same as our 9 kilo ones.)
Cheers.
