New OTG grate

The grate on my OTG 57cm is rusted and fit for the bin really.

Should I just get another one the same?

AS much as I like the cast iron grates ( I will be cooking on mine today) they do involve quite a bit of work to keep them seasoned. Personally I would just go for a normal set of grates.

The porcelain-enameled cast iron grill on the my Baby Q doesn't seem to require any maintenance.

I've got a baby q and a q200 as well. You're right that the grates on this require less maintenance - though I do tend to season mine once or twice a year. My craycourt ones definetly do though. The other thing I'm not so keen on with these is that there are no handles to remove them. Whilst not a huge deal it does make them a bit more cumbersome. Don't get me wrong I like them but I on;y tend to bust them out when I'm doing things like steaks or other items that require really high heat.

Got one of those. The grate is better than the stock weber one as the bars are thicker. The sear bit is ok but a little bit small IMHO when cooking big steaks ( I like to do t-bones that are a couple of inches thick)

The Outdoorchef grid is very thick and porcelain coated for very easy clean-up and fits the Weber. Downside, no handles and no hinged section for adding chips and more charcoal.
