14g needles

50ml syringe if you can get it. 30ml is ok.

The link I gave you do 14G luer lock ss reusable needles that are good. £2 for a box of 16 which will last a long time.

Try local Large animal vets, Agricultural instead of small animal,
Also try local agri suppliers, you can buy cattle worming guns which have a flexi pack, and will deliver measured doses in mls.
Sorry this is the only way I can describe it.
Buy the worming gun then fit your marinade/injection fluid to the the fitment on the back of the gun, the gun is calibrated so you can deliver the amount you want, where you want in the meat.

What's the advantage of syringes over the injectors from Mac's BBQ and the like?

I'm finding that when i inject my brisket with my other injectors i have injection marks in my meat which i don't like, i'm hoping a thinner needle will stop this that's all.

Is that 1.5" long? Is that not too short?

You could go in from top and bottom and both sides, my Cajun Injector syringe's needle is only a couple of inches long and I've not had any complaints ( )
