As has been said, Cartmel is this year's northern comp.
Hosting comps up north is nt something we've been great at because the logistics are a nightmare. However, given the sanctioning route there is nothing stopping a forum member arranging a sanctioned event up north. I know you'd get good support from the existing teams so if theres an appetite from northern teams it could be a good event.
