Hi all

Got my sizzling thermapen at the weekend thanks to ETI, Harry Soo and IBQN but stuck on how to change from degrees C to F, anyone care to help cant find it anywhere in the instructions

Brilliant Robin............done now thanx, but how bizarre is that the manual that came with it is almost identical but says Switch #1 "not in use" :shock: :shock:

Its because there is a clause between ETI and Thermaworks in the US that the UK cannot sell into the US so therefore do not promote that C to F change. hope that made sense :)

Just got one of these and used it at the weekend. Bloody hell, it's good.

It's easy to say just how good it is, but it's really something you have to experience. After years of using s-s-s-s-s-l-l-l-l-l-l-o-o-o-o-o-o-w-w-w-w-w- meat thermometers, there really is no going back.

The other great thing about it is that you just feel you're in good, reliable hands. That's what the Thermapen says? Then that's the correct temperature.

Yes, I find myself using mine in the kitchen all the time now. Nice to get an instant read of a piece of chicken which you're not 100% sure is 'done'. Nice bit of kit.
