Well the NFL season started last night, anyone had any experience with tailgate parties?

) has anyone heard of any college games here holding similar parties?

Re: NFL Tailgating
The Tailgating party at last years game was pants. It was really a way to get you in early to eat some (really poor) food and drink some (really expensive) beer. The only thing that was worth visit was the cheerleaders that they had performing before the game. It allowed the punters to get some close up action shots!
I went to a tailgating party in Philli and Seattle, amusing to say the least!

Don't forget Thursday night football, on Sky. The BBC have the rights to Monday night football but are showing it on the red button and I've no idea how to set up to record it other than being there and pressing recordBig_Fat_Dan wrote:I have Sky Keith, Starts a 6 in the afternoon, straight through to 1 in the morning.

You either love it or hate it, you need to have a lot of patience.
Gald I didn't bother with the tailgate then Cuan, You going this year?
Re: NFL Tailgating
LOL - patience - yes. It is almost as boring as Cricket
And I grew up in the US too
Of the American major league sports, I find Basketball and Baseball much more interesting.

Nope...
Being an ex rugby player, I don't understand what all the padding, helmets etc are for...
4 nurofen before a match always did the trick, mind you, you knew about it the following day!
Only joking Dan, each to their own, I see the appeal but like you said, you need patience, it's too stop start for my liking.
