No problem, I'll reserve 2 seats for you and your mate at Chutney's in Euston. Most certainly NOT BBQ related :D

Wow!
Sounds like my dream thermometer, I bought a talking one from RNIB but didnt realise it had a very narrow temp range and fried its brain when trying to see just how hot I could get my grill.......

A thermo that sends to my laptop and or iPhone where the clever tech can talk to me....dream come true!

Christmas sorted, cant wait for launch

Cheers Tiny

It's not cheap mind. £140 before probes. I guess this is what quality costs.

Interesting as there is bluetherm iOS app in the app store. Android is easier as they don't restrict which Bluetooth profiles you can use. iOS does not allow the SPP serial port profile (at least not for mortals) or unless you are jail broken. The iGrill, which is very similar to the bluetherm, gets around this with a fudge and uses the headset profile (HSP)

If you want to give it a go yourself and are reasonably technically competent, you can build your own for about 50 squid all in with probes, but minus a pretty android app (just text scrolling on the screen for now) and the option to activate a blower.
