Smokenator

Post by Swindon_Ed »

Hi, has anyone seen these before or has anyone got one of these. I'm looking for more smoking room and rather than buy another smoker i was thinking of getting one of these for my weber kettle.

I like the idea of it as if i'm bbq'ing away from home i don't need to take the smoker and the grill.

Looks like a decent bit of kit (if a bit flimsy), I suppose the deciding factor for me would be cost. I can get similar results with my kettle cooking indirect with a curry takeaway tin full of water above the coals and a good chunk of wood, the only fiddly bit is if I need to add more briquettes which isn't often. The Hovergrill tray is a good idea though, wonder if you can get it as a seperate item?

Looking at the site it say's about $55 for the smokenator and $15 for the hover grill.

I'm gonna go for it and give you a review once i'm done.
