I do however make a mean paella on my gas paella burner, and my Cobb oven gets used regularly, but having lurked here for a while, and read of the exploits of some of you peeps, I'm keen to expand my repertoire and try new things. I may not be able to contribute a great deal to the forum due to lack of in depth knowledge, but hopefully my enthusiasm will be evident to all.

Hi everyone. Found the website and forum while doing my research for a new BBQ for next year. Without insulting anyone, it's nice to meet others who are as daft as me, and really enjoy cooking outdoors. Been doing it for 30 years or so, but I'm a slow learner, and haven't progressed very far. We're safely past the carbonised sausages and pork chops, and haven't needed to use a water spray for flare ups for a long time, but haven't taken the grilling side of outdoor cooking much further.
