Cheers Derek, I've seen that site before, I think it was a link from a Farm School or something like that. I'm looking at getting a suckling pig for 2nd weekend in JUly. What sort of price are they charging? My butcher reckons currently £84 but that's not rare breed or anything, Costco mail order are £75-£80, but I think they come frozen, not sure but I'll be checking nearer the date.

Ballpark about £100, but nothing confirmed. This will be his first suckling sold and he needed to think about the offset he would lose by not letting it go full term and selling it then.
I think I would prefer a locally reared animal, rather than a frozen carcass that a few businesses can supply.

Those Costco ones aren't frozen, you can buy them from the supplier for £90 directly. Actually looks a good supplier.

Sorry still trying to catch up with work after 2 consecutive weekends off. Went very well I'll add pics when I get them sorted.
