Watermelon - exhibit A

Now that I have figured out the photobucket thumbnail thing, I offer for your approval the best bbq side ever invented.

This is Charlotte enjoying a slice of good old Florida watermelon. Juicy, ripe, sweet, cold, and the perfect hand food....what could be better after a smokey pork pig sandwich? Nothing, I say. This is what it's all about.

One of my favourite things to do with water melon which is great for a party, but only for the adults.

Cut a hole in the middle and push a funnel into the watermelon. Then start pouring vodka into the melon bit by bit over about 12 hours and then chill till ready.

Used to do the same, only using rum instead of vodka.
