Kingsford briquettes

Post by CAWKY1962 »

Hi everybody. How come you can buy Kingsford bbqs over here but not charcoal. As its apparently Americas best selling charcoal dont you think it should be available over here? Surely it cant be due to the distance it has to travel to get here as we already have Aussie Heatbeads. When I was at school I was always told that Australia was further away than America :?

I double checked and you are correct, Austrailia is further away! I spoke to Kingsford at the American Royal a couple of years ago, I dont think its an intentional thing but a distributor would need to step up and bring it over. With the margins its not something I would have considered due to the volume required to make it work. With Heatbeads and Restaurant grade lump over here you have similar products just not the brand,
