A Yoder Smoker
A Yoder Smoker
I am looking for a U.S style Smoker a heavy duty beast. Yoder Smokers make them in America but where can I buy one in the U.K? All I've seen is tinny crap that is not going to last a lifetime. Can anyone help??

Hi FishD
What kind of smoker are you after, Yoder seem to cover all the bases?

These guys were selling at grillstock last year http://www.smokyfun.eu/. I havent bothered to check out shipping from their site but i would presume its available in the uk. I had a good fiddle with one at the event and it was very solid, same as the yoders i fiddled with at the royal!
I can ask the grillstock organisers if theyre going to be there again ifmyou want to see one.

Looks like Yoder Smokers are available in Europe now, from this company. Anyone own one?

That's really interesting, i've liked the Yoders since i first saw them at the American Royal a couple of years ago.

The quality difference between a Yoder and a GMG is like night and day.
Don't get me wrong the GMG is a good cooker, but the Yoders offer a lot more, they're made of thick steal and have a load of cool features with them too.
Re: A Yoder Smoker
The Yoder YS480 looks to be about the same as the GMG Daniel Boone and certainly does look a sturdy beast, but at £1400+ it better be.
Ive used a GMG Daniel Boone for over a year, minimum 30+ hrs smoking a week and its never given me a single problem and its half the price.

How much food can you fit into it?
Re: A Yoder Smoker
I can get 6 butts in at a time or two full briskets.
Checking out both websites the GMG has just 22 sq in less cooking space than the Yoder.
