hello
i'm pretty new to smokers i have only just finished building a uds and i am itching to try it out
i attended the judging training course today and had the privalage to taste some wonderful bbq food expertly prepared by toby and steve, thanks guys. i was able to try foods that i had never tried before .i now have an idea of how much there is to learn about smoking meat
also it was nice to meet some other bbq enthusiasts and i hope to bump into them again
and thank you to the other guys who helped explain the finer points of competitive bbq cooking and you have to excuse me as i have a terrible memory for names

Keith
Can we take it from ur attendance that team Blues-N-Q are now a family of qualified food tasters and can now completely within their rights demand! to taste our BBQ goodness.....
Off Topic reply, yes we are and still waiting for the Beds BBQ Bretheren's confirmed invite!!!
Hope all is going well, we haven't had many updates on your family, then I suppose it hasn't been the weather to get the little darlings wet A tad too overexcited methinks
Well here's an update for ya, managed against all the odds to fight off redundancy, so well happy on that front
The bairns are still in hibernation but starting to stir, Bertie and Kelly have made it as far as the decking not so the youngest lil' Henry, he just refuses to come out of the shed....
Once I can get a confirmed roster and a promise from the sun gods i will plan a celebratory date for the Bruvva's
