I should clarify that since Friday I have cooked a Smoked brisket chilli and Spag Bol, 3 pork butts, 1 large fore rib of beef, a whole sirloin, 4 racks of ribs, 3 briskets 20 odd chicken thighs and I have trained (not sure if that's the right word) 5 new competitive BBQ teams all cooking in real time, on one WSM each so if I added their meat to the mix another 5 briskets, 5 pork butts, 10 racks of ribs and 60 thighs at our Mayhem in May event!!!

Sounds like it was an excellent weekend, weather behaved itself. I've seen the odd photo on the saysausages facebonk page.

It was our first judgely duty and I must admit we thoroughly enjoyed it. For those who aren't aware it is "one bite judging" i.e. getting the full flavour in one bite. Whether you eat the rest or take it home  is up to you. Revealing no secrets we all had 30 items to judge, (15 teams x 4 items and 2 panels of judges), but next time we will be prepared with something sweet as my word did my taste buds need it ;). An egg salad never tasted sooooooooooo good, can't wait for Brands Hatch :D
Again thanks to Toby and his dedicated troops who organised everything so well.
