Hi All,
I'm Alex, 27 from Hastings and I'm a huge BBQ and smoked food fan. Long time lurker and just managed to get registered, for some reason had some problems with the process when I've tried before.
Right now I'm in the middle of building my own brick BBQ grill/oven and smoker in the back garden which I'm hoping I'll be done in the next couple of weeks.
Previously I've mainly used UDS' and commercial products but thought I'd give making my own a try.
Got a little BBQ team locally, we don't do competitions or anything yet but just have fun grilling and smoking wherever we can and sharing a beer and some ideas?
Look forward to joining in the fun, learning a few things and hopefully giving a bit back

Welcome to the forum Alex, Comps can be great fun, this weekend we had 8 new teams have a go and I have to say the atmosphere was amazing!
