Grillstock Manchester
Who's going/competing? I'm really looking forward to it. I'm a regular reader of the forums but I don't post much.
Might speak to a few people competing and see if I can pick up some tips.
Cheers

It clashes with The Americana at Brands Hatch which was on the diary a long time ago, so I dare say quite a few of the southern based teams will be there. But good luck & weather to all going to Manchester have fun and if competing have a walk

Will be heading up with the family on Saturday for a look round. Weather looks like it is going to be good
Re: Grillstock Manchester
The wife and I have a rare weekend off, dates fallen really well and she's from Manchester anyway.
Going for both days and staying in a hotel close enough to stagger to. The weather should be great, even in Manchester.
Can't wait.

All the weather forecasts I've seen point to an extra-ordinary event in Manchester a sunny weekend. Hope you all have a great time.

Went yesterday and had a good time. It's my birthday next week so the other half got me a cold smoke generator from Macs BBQ, will look forward to having a play with that sometime. Not as big as the Bristol event and I think that was particularly reflected by the number of teams in the competition. Still, got to sample lots of food, picked up a few tips, worth the entry fee.

Re: Grillstock Manchester
It's the first go up there, 2012 Grillstock was smaller than this year's, but their dates clashed with the Nascar Americana event at Brands so a lot of us had already committed to that. Glad you had a great time, it was undoubtedly quieter, even with the music

We got back from vending at Grillstock in the early hours - awesome weekend and the visitors love their BBQ. There seems to be so much enthusiasm around slow and low at the moment.

Were you vending on the Grillstock stand? As I was very impressed with the brisket whereas normally I'm indifferent to brisket.
