If you watch DDD Guy often has a go at this having de-blinged. There was a Pizza parlour in Shaftesbury Avenue where they used this technique as an advertisement. The guy there would spin bases so large hands weren't big enough and the radius would stretch from knuckle to elbow, still "tossing & catching".
For us oldens it was a "good Game" on the Generation game
