No the biggest I've seen was Fat Sam's 2lb burger. However they were quite cunning, they based it on 8 x1/4Lb burgers so you had 8 times the salad, fries, cheese drink and sides. The bun was so huge it made the burger look small. Sadly they also cooked it for 8 times as long as a quarter pounder so it was dry and tasteless. I failed on the bun....So I didn't get the tee shirt, but it was only 1/2 price to entice wannabe gluttons :D

Makes me want to weep, 7lbs of alledgedly decent beef to either make some fool feel sick or to end up in the skip.

I am a trencherman with the best of them but these sort of things make me feel faintly queasy.

Sorry I know I will be shouted down by the MVF lovers, I like the show as well until it cones to "I am going to eat a burrito the size of a washing machine...."

Cheers

Has anyone finished it?

A back of the envelope calculation tells me that is about 10 or 11 pounds of food - about 5 kilos or so. I'm not sure it is possible. I can think of better ways to spend 60 quid.

No disagreement from me, I've never understood the point of food challenges

Hey guys you get a free tee shirt!!! Yes I fully agree they are probably great publicity for the establishment but 5Kg of food at one sitting!!! Let alone the cost.
MvF is a great show, but look at the first show and the latest, Adam doesn't look that well these days.

I think in the latest series he has a designated fool to attempt the challenge, some of them I am ok with like the hot chilli challenges but even those have become a bit ridiculous........this is pure chilli extract at 9.4 billion scoble units and our chefs are preparing the dish in a nuclear bunker......

I think these have been done now......

I used to love MvF but am bored of them now, after watching him do a hot chilli, big lump of meat, seafood and pudding challenge theres not much left to do but repeat it.
I like Diners, drive through and dives as you get to see a lot of the ingredients and how they smoke them etc.

I can eat a lot at certain times, right frame of mind etc but couldn't just turn up and eat something like that so for me its a waste of money but would quite happily watch and laugh at somebody trying it :D
