I'm very impressed with how this seal is working. I'm getting much more stable temps and more burn time

Im finding this when i first put wood chips on alot seeps out but then stops, i presumed this was normal as my ribs im doing are getting a nice smoke ring still.slatts wrote:That makes a lot of sense![]()
Might be trying that as after 5-6 cooks im still getting a lot of smoke up the sides of my PRO Q Frontier although temps have been quite steady apart from one night.
I understand what you mean about no breeze, I had my smoker in a shaded corner and the temps hit over 300 and wouldn't drop, I closed all vents apart from the top one and got it down to 280, in the end I took the lid off until down to 230 then lid on and food on, held quite well after that.
