Mods to my Lil Tex

Post by crsmoke070 »

I have done some simple mods to my lil tex. I put 4 fire bricks in the bottom to help with temp swings. Upgraded to a digital 180*F controller (sorry - I know they aren't available in UK yet) added front shelf.

I am planning to put in a second shelf inside, add a cold smoker box & switch out grease bucket for one I can put a lid on when not in use.

Anybody have mods that they have done to their Lil Tex?

I haven't tried the fire brick trick but will do tonight. Thanks for the tip.
