I have decided to take the plunge! I breed my own pigs, make salami, bacon and have been a finalist in Britons best sausage (not bad considering I am not a butcher). I also make rubs and chilli sauces. To complete the picture I am building my own trailer smoker BBQ pit hoping to get into competition BBQ. Any help greatly appreciated as I take my hobby forward

HI Ian, welcome to the forum, there is plenty of tips on here about competition BBQ. I also run grassroots courses for first timers, our next one will be in May which i will post details about in a few weeks.

Hi Ian, welcome to the forum, as Toby says there is an array of topics and posts to satisfy your thirst for knowledge. Having read your "CV" I'm looking forward to your posts on curing & sausgae making etc.
