Anyone seen one of these before?

Looks quite interesting, even after 3 years of using chimney starters I still chuckle at the days before when I used to have all sorts of issues with lighting charcoal with kindling and newspaper. But I must admit for early smokes this is quite appealing!

They have been around for years, they are very slow to get going

Ah bummer, from the vid it looks like they are really quick, but then I guess they are trying to sell a product :(

I know a couple of people that used them for single events but they didnt seem to catch on........... :roll: ........ hopefully someone with some hands on will comment soon

I honestly wouldn't waste your money - better with a chimney starter - they really are very slow to get going.

Also it just looks like a standard industrial heat gun with an aluminium tube over the end. Ive got a cheap heatgun that looks like the afterburner on a typhoon, im pretty sure that gets as hot as the looflighter does...


They are likely buying in heat guns from china and putting a new nozzle on the front...
