All weather BBQ

Well chaps,
it was all under starters orders in the Tiny back garden novice stakes. I had intended to pack most of the team away but you know how it is, other things etc and come the night of the very lively storm in Portsmouth there were still 4 runners in the field.

Weber Kettle in standard livery cover
Elderly outback, stripped naked to the elements. Yes I know I promised Mrs Tiny I would take it to the tip but well you know.......

So it was about 5.18 when I heard the odd roof tile part company I recalled the boys in the back garden and was faced with the dilemma of saddling up the faithful guide dog and trying to work out in the chaotic garden where everything was or just lie there and hope for mercy.

I opted for the latter as although the faithful hound likes to feel his jowls in the breeze it was too lively for my blood. So we waited till it had all calmed dow and did the rounds before work.

The landmann had made the most progress, the full length of the garden and sans cover but still upright, the 2 outbacks had remained resolute and had not moved at all but he newbie had lost his cover nad was naked like the old stager. Most impressive was the performance of the weber who had obviously set sail and had managed a patio some,, some pretty uneven grass and home come to rest upright but again sans cover in the centre of the garden, its eerie ivory glow stating that this garden belonged to the barbecuses irrspective of the weather.

The 3 missing covers have been duly returned and IU really must stash everything away this weekend......

Well the trampolines must of been hard at it as our one has two broken poles

The neighbours bigger trampoline has just got some bent poles, I did go out in the morning to separate them but it was still very windy so I left them to it, chucked a rubber basket in the middle for some protection......only time will tell

So back to the garden.....
We are doing our garden in the new year, total refurb and had a look at the link to the tiki bar huts etc, very nice but pricey think ill be making some form of cooking shelter though and bar-food prep area.
